Orders & shipping

Do you offer international shipping?

The Dynasty collection is currently shipping in Australia only. The worldwide release will be in January 2025, so please hang tight! To stay up to date on when we will ship worldwide, please sign up to our mailing list.

We are shipping all other products internationally.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free for all orders over AU $180. There's a flat rate fee of AU $15 for all other orders. Please refer to our Delivery & Returns page for further details.

How long will it take for my order to be processed and shipped?

Online orders for in-stock items are typically processed and dispatched within 3-5 business days. Please allow for a little extra time during peak sales periods. Please refer to our Delivery & Returns page for further details.

How long does shipping take?

Please refer to our Delivery & Returns page for order processing and delivery timeframes. Please note our delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary with public holidays, weather events, congestion in the carrier network, and other influences outside of our control.

Delivery timeframes are indicative only. We are not in control of any shipping delays or transit issues that may occur once the consignment is in the hands of the carrier. Please refer to our Delivery & Returns page for order processing and delivery timeframes.

How do I track my order?

We'll email you a tracking number once your order has shipped.

Can I change or cancel my order?

You can contact me at georgina@yenqin.com if you wish to modify or cancel your order. Our ability to make modifications depends on whether your order has been processed and dispatched. Emails are checked and responded to during standard business hours.

Can my order be gift-wrapped?

Due to the small size of our team, we cannot offer gift wrapping at this time, but we aim to provide this service soon.

 


Returns

Do you offer returns & exchanges?

We offer change-of-mind store credit for all items purchased at full retail price from yenqin.com. To be eligible for store credit, your item must be received within 30 days of the original delivery date. Items must be returned in unused condition with their original packing to be eligible for store credit.

You are responsible for any shipping costs associated with the return. We recommend sending returns using a traceable & insured service, as we are not responsible for any items lost, packages or damaged during shipping.

To initiate the store credit process, please contact us via email georgina@yenqin.com.

We do not offer store credit for discounted items, including promotional discounts or sale items. Please refer to our Delivery & Returns page for further details.

Do you offer refunds?

Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind, but we offer store credit. Please refer to our Delivery & Returns page for further details.

I received a broken item. How do I arrange a replacement?

Any items damaged or broken during shipment must be reported to georgina@yenqin.com within 5 days of delivery in order to be eligible for a replacement. 

Please email georgina@yenqin.com with a photo of the broken item/s, and the shipping box, ensuring the printed label and any exterior damage are visible. We do not require broken items to be returned.

Replacements will depend on stock availability. If the item is out of stock, a refund for the item will be issued.

What if I believe the product is faulty?

Due to the nature of handmade ceramics and natural glazes, there will always be some difference and variation in the colours, finish and form from one piece to the next. Slight irregularities in size, glaze and texture reflect the artisan nature of the product and should be embraced. These variations are considered “normal” and do not deem the product to be faulty.

If you still believe there is a fault in your piece, please take a photo of the fault and email georgina@yenqin.com within 5 days of delivery. The item will be assessed and the outcome will depend on the nature of the concern. If the item is assessed as faulty, you will be eligible for a full refund on the faulty item.

 


Product care

How should I care for my Dynasty tableware?

Dynasty is designed with hospitality-grade durability in mind, but following Care Guide will ensure the longevity of your pieces. Feel free to get in touch at georgina@yenqin.com if you have any particular questions or concerns.

Is Dynasty tableware food safe?

Dynasty is handcrafted with Luzerne's Signature Quality. Each piece is lead and cadmium-free, meeting the strictest health standards, including those of the US FDA and California Proposition 65. In addition, Dynasty pieces contain no animal bone ash, making them ideal for those with religious or ethical considerations. 

But wouldn't it be hard to clean food out of all the deep engravings?

Even with the detailed embossed patterns, the vitrified body and glaze creates a non-porous surface, making it easy to clean and resistant to stains, odours, grease and bacteria. This high-quality finish guarantees optimal hygiene with every use.

However, we always recommend washing shortly after use to avoid anything unwanted sticking around and warranting the use of harsh brushes and detergent. 

Can I put it in the dishwasher and microwave?

Dynasty tableware is safe to use in the freezer, microwave, oven, and dishwasher, offering convenience and ease for modern living.

They are also thermal shock resistant, withstanding extreme temperature change—from oven (180°C) to running water (20°C)—without cracking.

Can I recycle the packaging?

All Dynasty packaging is paper-based and fully recyclable. Your parcel may also come with 100% compostable bubble wrap and bio filler for added protection. The filler is made with cornstarch and can be safely dissolved in water.

Where are the products made?

Each piece of the Dynasty collection is finely handcrafted by Luzerne's craftspeople in Dehua, China. Known as the birthplace of Blanc de Chine and conferred the status of World Porcelain City, Dehua porcelain is cherished for its purity, elegance, and jade-like qualities.

Dehua kilns are steeped in over a thousand years of history, with pieces that have journeyed across the world, serving both as art and objects of everyday life.

What is Dynasty tableware made of?

Dynasty is made from fine Dehua porcelain and finished with high-quality, food-safe glaze. Dehua porcelain is cherished for its purity, elegance, and jade-like qualities.
